School District 91, in cooperation with the Burns Lake Soccer Club have established a French drain on the lower soccer fields just west of Saul Creek. An estimated 30 per cent of the lower fields were unavailable for use following heavy rain this summer. The French drain will allow the water to move off site and is a significant improvement to the fields by Lakes District
