Contractors for the school district cut down trees to make way for a new driveway for school district buses to pull up.
Trees in both the front and back were cleared to make way for a new bus depot and garage for school district buses.
The old garage had become too small and outdated, so the school district decided to turn half of the old Muriel Mould Elementary School into a bus depot.
The trees that were cut down were donated to a local craftsman, who hauled them away, and will mill and dry them. They will then use the wood to built furniture we were told.
