The Rupert Pedal Pushers (Sherry Beal, Kaarlene Lindsay, Sharon Oskey and Tina Cann) will be raising money in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer 2013. The ride will take place over June 15 and 16, 2013 as the team cycles from Vancouver to Seattle, WA.
All money raised in the event will go directly to the BC Cancer Foundation which helps to cover cost for cancer treatments, equipment and patient/survivor resources.
This Saturday, Jan 19,2013 the Sne C’al Yegh gas bar will raising money for the team’s ride by offering the opportunity for people to have their photo taken wearing Vancouver Canuck’s Roberto Luongo’s goalie pads. Payment for the photos will be by donation, and all proceeds go to the Ride to Cure Cancer.
Another Canuck, Daniel Sedin, has made an autographed jersey available to be won by those who make a donation.
