Greg Van Tighem, Jasper firefighter is cycling the 3100 kms length of Hwy. 16 from Masset, B.C. to Winnipeg, Manitoba in approximately 28 days.
Van Tighem arrived in Burns Lake last Saturday and was greeted by Burns Lake fire chief Jim McBride and local Rotarians.
The Burns Lake Rotary club did a fund raiser last week and raised $500 for The MS Society.
Van Tighem is doing this ride solo, meaning he does not have a crew following him on the road.
