Roots of Empathy has come to an end, The program is an evidence based classroom program that has shown significant effects in reducing levels of aggression among school aged children while raising social emotional competencies and increasing empathy.
This year the community hosted two programs at William Konkin Elementary School. Katie Blackwell volunteered and organize this program for the community. Blackwell said, "I am always looking for moms and volunteers to keep this program running in the Lakes District.”
