The Lakes District Secondary School held its annual community barbecue on Sept. 24, 2013.
The Burns Lake high school has a new vice principal this year. Phil Johnston (pictured) comes to Burns Lake after a six year stint in 100 Mile House as a math and physical education teacher. The community barbecue was well-attended by students, teachers, and parents.
