The sixth annual Burns Lake Show and Shine proved to be a popular event with 48 vehicles attending this year’s show. Cars arrived at Spirit Square last Sunday from Prince George, Vanderhoof, Fraser Lake, Burns Lake, Houston, Moricetown, Smithers, Terrace, and one pickup came all the way from Powell River. The winner of the owner’s choice trophy was Bernie Desjardin with a beautiful 1970 Plymouth Superbird. Runner up was Hans and Marg Hamhuis with their stunning 1928 Ford, and honourable mention was awarded to Gordon Stewart with his 1935 Ford.
