The Southside 4-H Club will be collecting Ivomec boxes again this year. They do have to be Ivomec brand made by Merial. If you have any we can have please let us know at 250-694-3811 and we can arrange for pickup. As an ongoing fund raiser the Southside 4-H Club will be selling magazine subscriptions. On Jan. 24, 2014 the Southside 4-H Club had its first meeting of the year. During the meeting the new Officers were elected: President-Colton Lambert, Vice-President-Aiden Martens, Secretary-Mitchell Lagomodiere, Treasurer-Cobie Martens, Press Reporter-Lukas Willner, Safety Officer-Garrett Lambert.
There are currently 29 members Registered. The Leaders of the Southside 4-H Club are: Deanna Lambert-A Leader and Rabbit, Tonia Lambert-Swine Leader, Lianne Hummel-Sheep Leader, Élan Reynolds-Beef/Diary Leader, Miranda Morgan-Cloverbud’s Leader , August Meutzner-Small Engines Leader, Margaret Meutzner-Clothing Leader.
The upcoming Events are Feb. 1 Southside 4-H member enrollment deadline, Feb. 5 Clothing and Small Engines project meeting, Feb. 11 Cloverbud’s @ Miranda’s house, after school until 5p.m., Feb. 19 Clothing and Small Engines project meeting, Feb. 20 Deadline to Register for District Communication Event to Deanna, Feb. 21 Beef and Diary project meeting, Feb. 28 Club business meeting.
