Local resident Pius Charlie's grandfather Issac Sam planted this tree in 1942. Sam, who was part of the eagle clan passed away several years ago.
Just recently Charlie noticed an eagle had landed on his grandfather's tree. Not long after, the tree miraculously fell to the ground.
In honour of his grandfather, Charlie chopped the fallen tree into pieces and gave a piece of the tree to each of his family members.
