A total of 25 children participated in this year’s summer art camp, which was held at the Burns Lake Public Library.
During the two-day camp, children had fun painting with acrylics, practicing watercolour painting and doing some work with pastels.
This was the third year of the annual camp, organized by the Lakes District Arts Council (LDAC). “I had a great time and would definitely come again,” said one of the children. Sandra Barth, LDAC president, said LDAC hopes to be able to continue with this program, but it all depends on funding.
