(Pictured) Jean Olsen, comfortable in her surroundings at the Burns Lake Thrift Store, is retiring after more than 20 years of volunteer service with the Burns Lake Hospital Auxiliary. She’s enjoyed her years of volunteering. “It gave me something to do on a Friday,” Olsen said. “I like to talk and visit with people.” Olsen will be moving to Prince George soon, where she will be closer to family and medical services.
