Toronto-based classical pianist Sarah Hagen impressed the audience with her performance at the First Mennonite Church in Burns Lake last week. During the second half of the performance, special guest Guy Epkens-Shaffer narrated the story of Babar the elephant while artwork created by students from Decker Lake Elementary School was displayed on a projector screen. This was the fifth performance in the Lakes District Arts Council’s 2016/17 season.
