Shelley Wall, manager of the Burns Lake & District Chamber of Commerce said the Big Pig festival on the weekend a great success.
“The buskers were well received, we had lots of children show up for the magic shows and the train ride; the evening in the park with the music was fabulous, the free concert was a great experience and of course the weather cooperated; it was almost too hot. I think the festival will continue to grow and be even bigger and better next year,” she said.
