Quilt and Art Show at Francois Lake
A Quilt and Art Show will be held at the Francois Lake Hall and St. Luke’s Church on the Lake on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is by donation, and a concession will be available at lunch time. The show is sponsored by Yarn and Sew On, and will feature door prizes and a special guest - ‘Quilter on Fire’ Brandy Maslowski. For more information, phone 250-692-0800.
Rod and Gun Club Harvest Ball
The Tweedsmuir Park Rod and Gun Club’s second annual Harvest Ball takes place on Saturday, Oct. 28. A total of 120 tickets were available at $50 each at the Rod and Gun Club Hall on Oct. 10.
