The Alcan Quartet arrived in Burns Lake last week for a special Valentines Day concert. The concert was held at the First Mennonite Church in Burns Lake and featured classical music performed by one of Canada's premier string ensembles.
The Alcan Quartet is based in Chicoutimi, Quebec and they have received the highest recommendations in reviews from their tours throughout Europe, North America and Asia. They also performed a second concert on the Southside during their visit to the area.
