The Lakes District Secondary school drama and dance class, have made the very difficult decision to move forward with their performance of “Treasure Island”.
Despite the very sad and desperate situation we are facing within our school and the whole community, they have decided collectively to use their play as a fundraiser to help the victims of the tragedy at the mill.
As such all proceeds from the play will go towards one of the funds set up to help the millworkers and their families. They hope this will help support their fellow students with their loss and all others affected.
