John (R) and Sandra Barth, who run the Lakes District Arts Council, were presented with the Principals’ and Vice Principals’ Association (BCPVPA) Partnership Award by BCPVPA President Kevin Reimer (L) in Vancouver.
The BCPVPA Partnership Awards honour the support provided to principals, vice-principals, teachers and students by individuals and groups who have, over an extended period of time, shared their time, energy and expertise to support schools.
John and Sandra were nominated by the Nechako Lakes Principals’ and Vice-Principals’ Association. “John and Sandra Barth are fierce believers in public education and in the arts,” said a statement released by Lakes District Secondary School. “They have touched the lives of every student in our community.”
