In Loving Memory ~
Wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother
Mary Josephine Clancy (nee Keane) was a woman of courage, travelling alone with seven children, the youngest only three months old, from Dublin, Ireland to Canada to start a new life here!
Arriving in Saskatoon, then settling in Kindersley Saskatchewan for a few months, she was soon on the move with her children again to their final destination of Burns Lake, B.C.
Mary was a wonderful role model for her children, working hard all her life, first keeping an immaculate home for her family, then 18 years employed at the Burns Lake hospital until her retirement at the age of 64.
Mary loved to socialize, family and friends were held close to her heart always, and as the grandchildren began to come along, Mary cherished and spoiled them whenever she had a chance! And oh, how she loved to dance!
Always kind, always helping, Mary was loved and adored by anyone who ever met her!
Forever in our hearts and minds,
Gerry and Joan, grandchildren Jason (Jocelyn), Sara (Dan), and great-grandchildren Hayley, Meeghan, Grady, Aidan, Connor, Kennedy and Jordyn.
