Burns Lake resident Mary Janzen was this month’s winner of Lakes District News’ “guess who” contest. Janzen received gift certificates worth $100 that she will be able to spend in participating businesses of the Burns Lake and District Chamber of Commerce’s gift certificate program. The guess who contest, which was the idea of Burns Lake resident Johnny Johnson, featured old photos from Lakes District News’ archives and asked people to guess who the person was. This was the final edition of the contest.
