Former Skin Tyee Nation band manager Nathan Michaluk was back in court once again on Feb. 18 for an application, asking the Court to make an order to resolve any issues that come up during his case.
Michaluk faces multiple charges, including careless use or storage of a firearm and possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The BC Prosecution Service confirmed the charges last fall under sections 86(1) and 88(1) of the Criminal Code, and legal proceedings began with his first appearance in court on Nov. 1, 2024.
Michaluk appeared again in court on Nov. 21, Dec. 9, Dec 12 and Jan. 22 before his most recent appearance which resulted in the prosecutor scheduling another court date.
Michaluk is scheduled to appear in court again on March 19 to elect the mode of trial.
