Spring Kick Off Day on Saturday happened at Starland on April 27. There were several vendors attending including a soil specialist Robby Gass from Alba Organics. Brad Valair from Barkman Concrete also had a display of concrete garden and walk way blocks. Local resident Nathan Nicholas was on hand giving out information on worm farming and the girls Prince George Master Gardeners - Karen Pitcher and Alex Dorer also brought gardening books, seeds and seedlings and a bunch of good advice. Trennis Wiens owner of Starland said, “I would be glad for the community to know that we support this hobby/work and today is also a community networking event with other local businesses showcasing their enterprises.” The day was a busy informative day.
