Husky drops gas price to 133.9 in Burns Lake

Gas at the Husky station in Burns Lake dropped to $133.9 on Nov. 21, down from $142.9 the previous day.

Prices remain at $142.9 at the village’s other main gas stations of Mobil and Chevron.

Responding to an inquiry from Lakes District News, Husky Energy said prices fluctuate and “there are several factors that go into how fuel is priced.”

A spokesperson from the Canadian Fuels Association explained that “individual fuel retailers set their prices in response to their local market condition factors including competitors, market share, etc.”
