Students of William Konkin Elementary School (WKE) and Decker Lake Elementary School (DLES) celebrated Pink Shirt Day on Feb. 28. Miriah Donnelly, WKE vice principal, said it’s important to be kind and forgiving to each other. Sigrid Sollbach, DLES principal, stated that Pink Shirt Day wasn’t just a one-day thing in her mind.
