2017 a busy year for Burns Lake Fire and Rescue Department

The Burns Lake Fire and Rescue Department had a very busy year in 2017, responding to 131 calls for assistance, up from 113 in 2016 - this represents a 16 per cent overall increase. Motor vehicle incidents led the way in 2017 with 37 responses while alarms activated came second, with 26 calls.
