On Sunday March 20, 2016, at 9:51 a.m., the Houston RCMP received a complaint of an assault which involved a firearm in Topley.
As this incident involved an individual with firearms, the North District Emergency Response team was called to assist the Houston-Granisle Detachment.
Just after 5 p.m., the suspect was taken into custody without incident and without injury to anyone involved.
The suspect appeared in Houston Provincial court on March 21, 2016.
