(L) Ray Mayer from Lakes District Maintenance saved approximately 39,795 litres of oil and prevented 700 tires from going into landfills in five years by purchasing retreaded tires.
Brent VandenBoogaart Tahtsa Group saved approximately 62,535 litres of oil and prevented 1100 tires from going into landfills in five years by purchasing retreaded tires.
Both local companies received Kal Tire’s certificate of corporate social responsibility from local manager Steven Creelman.
