Blood Moon arising

A Super Blood Wolf Moon is a total lunar eclipse that occurred on Jan. 20, 2019. It coincides with when the moon is approximately at its closest distance to Earth, resulting in a moon that appears larger than usual, a Supermoon. During a total eclipse, the moon appears red, known as a Blood Moon. A Wolf Moon is a full moon occurring in January. (Wren Gilgan photos)
