Burns Lake man involved in Prince George disturbance

On March 1, 2011 at 2:26 p.m., Prince George RCMP received a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence in the 2400 block of Webber Crescent in Prince George.

General duty officers arrived on scene and arrested two adult males.

Through investigation at the scene, officers were able to determine that the two heavily intoxicated males were not attempting to break into the residence, but rather they were pushing and shoving each other in front of the residence. No signs of forced entry or attempted forced entry were found.

Upon search of the males, one was found in possession of a knife. Both were lodged in cells until sober.

A charge of causing a disturbance is being considered against a 22 year old Burns Lake man, while charges of causing a disturbance and weapons offences are being considered against a 22 year old man known to reside in both Takla Landing and Prince George.
