(L-R) Grace Reid, Loretta Petryshen and Maggie Fehr, volunteers at the Burns Lake and District Health Care Auxiliary’s local Thrift Shop say December has been an extremely busy month at the store with stock flying off the shelves.
A recent ‘fill a bag for $5’ sale also proved popular with locals. The auxiliary is in desperate need of volunteers for the store as well as junior volunteers to help at the Lakes District Hospital and the Pines.
