On Friday, June 22, 2012, at approximately 2:54 p.m., the Burns Lake RCMP detachment received a report of a single motor vehicle rollover on Hwy. 16 West.
Police investigation determined that the commercial motor vehicle carrying wood chips traveling East, left the road while approaching a construction zone, narrowly missing a motor vehicle stopped for construction.
The driver, a 27 year old male from Mission, was transported to the Lakes District Hospital for treatment for non life threatening injuries.
