A recent public request for sealed bid was issued for surplus Comfor Management Services Ltd. (CMSL) assets which, according to CMSL president Quentin Beach received a good amount of public interest.

"We received a total of nine sealed bids for the equipment listed and were pleased to see so much local interest. As a community owned corporation, we try to ensure that benefits derived from the community forest return the community," Beach said.

Five of the eight unwanted pieces of equipment were successfully sold to a number of local bidders.
