Burns Lake and Vanderhoof conservation officers attended a report of a vehicle chasing down and killing a coyote on a frozen lake south of Vanderhoof on Jan. 21, 2017.
Two suspects were arrested and released to attend court on a later date. Charges will be recommended to crown council for harassing wildlife with a vehicle and unlawful possession of wildlife.
According to conservation officers, no further information can be released at this time since this is an ongoing investigation.
