Board members of the Nechako Kitamaat Development Fund Society and the Burns Lake and District Healthcare Auxiliary, visited the Burns Lake Public Library on May 11. The two organizations provided the generous funding needed for the purchase of an automated external defibrillator (AED) that was recently installed at the library. The AED installation at the library is seen as the first step in a long-range vision to provide these life saving devices and training for staff in public spaces around town.
