The Village of Burns Lake has recently placed a new stop sign at the intersection of Government Street and Third Avenue, making it a four-way stop.
Since its installation, some drivers have missed seeing the new stop sign while others have been surprised with the new four-way stop in Burns Lake.
The new sign was placed after community members expressed concerns about safety at the intersection. Prior to the installation, vehicles from the north along Government Street had the right of way.
