Evacuation order has been issued for Tintagel July 11, 2023 at 1730 hours.
An Evacuation Order has been issued by the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako effective July 11, 2023 at 1730 hours due to a wildfire.
The evacuation order has been placed because of the danger to life and health for all lands and properties east of the existing Tintagel Evacuation Alert Area and north of Co-op Lake, accessed by Augier Main Forest Service Road, and extending east on the north side of Hannay Road, as shown on the attached map.
Evacuation is effective immediately and residents must register at the reception centre.
Persons who disregard this Evacuation Order and remain in the Evacuation Order area do so at their own risk. The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako may be unable to assist anyone who remains in the Evacuation Order area.
