Burns Lake’s newly elected mayor Chris Beach still has some of his election signs around town. Although the village’s sign bylaw exempts political signs, Burns Lake’s chief election officer requires candidates to remove their signs within seven days of the by-election. There is no penalty for not removing the signs.
