MPs to demand federal action on timber supply

Three B.C. Interior MPs are planning to hold a teleconference with the federal government to demand more action on timber supply.

Three B.C. Interior MPs, including Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Nathan Cullen, are planning to hold a teleconference with the federal government to demand more action on timber supply.

With the provincial annual allowable cut expected to decline by more than 13 million cubic metres per year over the next decade, the MPs will be demanding more funding and actions to meet the upcoming challenges.

The three MPs are expected to meet in Prince George for the teleconference on Nov. 28.
