Parrot Lookout Wildfire evaluation order expansion

An Evacuation Order Expansion has been issued due to potential danger to life and health by Recreation Sites and Trails BC, Wet’suwet’en First Nation, Skin Tyee Nation and the Regional District of Bulkley Nechako.

An Evacuation Order Expansion has been issued due to potential danger to life and health by Recreation Sites and Trails BC, Wet’suwet’en First Nation, Skin Tyee Nation and the Regional District of Bulkley Nechako.

This expansion broadens the Evacuation Order area issued on July 10, 2023 at 2000 hours and is for the following area:

All lands and properties accessed by Colleymount Road between McClure Pit to and including 20448 Colleymount Road. This also includes lands and properties accessed by the Henkel Creek FSR as well as Nourse Creek Trail, McClure Pit and

Government Point Recreation Sites and Trail as shown on the attached map. All lands and properties located between the Morice Owen Service Rd and Parrott FSR, including Owen Lake Rd. east of Francois Lake as shown on the attached map.

You must leave the area immediately and register at the reception area.

Persons who disregard this Evacuation Order and remain in the Evacuation Order area do so at their own risk. The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako may be unable to assist anyone who remains in the Evacuation Order area.

Further Evacuation Alert Expansion has been issued. This expansion broadens the Evacuation Alert area issued on July 12, 2023 at 1130 hours and is for the following area All lands and properties located south of the Pipeline Right of Way between McClure Pit and Brown Rd.

An Evacuation Alert has been issued to prepare you to evacuate your premises or property should it be found necessary. Residents will be given as much advance notice as possible prior to evacuation; however, you may receive limited notice due to changing conditions.
