Pinkut Lake Wildfire Evacuation alert is now an order

Evacuation order has been expanded for Boer July 10, 2023.

An Evacuation Order Expansion, effective July 10, 2023 at 1700 hours, has been issued to protect access to infrastructure and close recreation trails by Recreation Sites and Trails BC, and the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako. This expansion broadens the Evacuation Order area issued on July 08, 2023 at 1930 hours and is for the following area:

All lands and properties accessed by Boer Mountain Road NORTH of the Kager Lake Campsite, and to the west of the existing Tintagel Evacuation Alert Area.

Evacuation alert amendment for parts of Tintagel.

An Evacuation Alert Amendment, effective July 10, 2023 at 1700 hours, has been issued by the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako. This amends the Evacuation Alert Expansion area issued on July 08, 2023 at 1930 hours, by removing the following areas:

All lands and properties accessed by Gowan, Wiebe, and Boer Mountain Roads SOUTH of the Kager Lake Campsite are no longer under evacuation alert.

Pinkut Lake Wildfire Evacuation alert is now an order.

An Evacuation Order has been issued by BC Parks and the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako effective July 10, 2023 at 1630 hours due to a wildfire. The Evacuation Alert issued July 9, 2023 at 2200 hours remains in place.

An Evacuation Order has been issued for all lands and properties accessed by Fisheries Road north of the junction with Augier Main FSR. Additionally, all areas accessed by the Grizzly Main FSR south of Babine Lake. This includes portions of the Sutherland River Park, Babine Lake Marine Park’s Pinkut Creek Site, and the Pinkut Creek Spawning Channel due to potential danger of life and health.
