Telkwa Mayor Darcy Repen drove to Victoria last week with signs that read ‘Are you a second class British Columbian’ on his vehicle. Repen says there’s a “funding inequality” between B.C. communities. “The provincial government won’t even acknowledge the funding inequality, much less discuss it, so I’ve decided to take the discussion to them,” he said.
