Burns Lake locals Derrik Denholm and Ben Reynolds spotted this turkey vulture near Wisteria.
These are more common in the Southern part of B.C.; however this is the extreme Northern extent of their range.
Denholm said this was his first turkey vulture sighting in 25 years of forestry work.
