The Burns Lake RCMP is investigating a break and enter to a business that took place in Burns Lake over the weekend.
According to corporal Terry Gillespie with the Burns Lake RCMP, an alarm was triggered and nothing was stolen. Gillespie did not release the name of the business to protect the “integrity of the investigation.”
There are no witnesses or suspects at this point, and the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
The public is reminded to lock all doors and windows and to have someone check on their residence if they are going to be away for some time.
