The Burns Lake Volunteer Fire Department conducted a mock rescue at a building slated for demolition in Decker Lake. Firefighters practiced extricating a downed colleague from a smoke-filled building. Fire Chief Rob Krause said, “Our visits were part of the fire department’s fire prevention efforts.
