Last week the Burns Lake RCMP received a report of a vehicle on fire east of Burns Lake.
Police cars and a fire truck were immediately sent to the scene around 5 p.m. on March 30.
As it turns out, the incident wasn't as serious as first responders had previously thought - a seized brake caused one of the wheels to catch on fire.
The Burns Lake Fire Department was able to apply water to cool the brake down and extinguish the fire.
