Trains are a fascinating mode of transportation that can take you on a journey through time and space. Trains were a primary mode of transportation in the early years, their rhythmic chugging and whistling evoke a sense of adventure and excitement often bringing new residents to Burns Lake. The train stopped at the Canadian National Railway station in Burns Lake [~1949}. Station was located across what is now Gilgan Drive from the Welcome to Burns Lake sign.
