An April 2013 Smithers BC investigation into an incident of forcible confinement in a vehicle, has led to several more victims being identified in the Williams Lake area. The alleged incidents predate the Smithers BC matter and spanned from 2007 to 2012 involving the same commercial truck driver.
On April 8, 2013, Robert Fagg was arrested by the Smithers RCMP and charged with several violent offences (Forcible Confinement, Assault) after his victim escaped from the Semi Truck where she was being held by Robert Fagg.
As a result of the Smithers RCMP investigation, the North District R/GIS unit began an investigation into Fagg's activities and former relationships in the Williams Lake area after receiving information from other possible victims. Robert Fagg is 24 yrs of age and had been a resident of the WIlliams Lake area.
