Village chief administrative officer Sheryl Worthing and deputy director of corporate services Cameron Hart will oversee this year’s local government elections in Burns Lake.

Worthing, who has served as the village’s chief election officer for the past six elections/by-elections, was reappointed to the position by council on Feb. 25. Hart, a relative newcomer to municipal government, was chosen to serve as her deputy.

Winners of next November’s local elections will serve four years on councils and school boards. The Village of Burns Lake next vote is slated for Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014.
