An RCMP file photo of Destiny Rae Tom. Her body was found over the weekend outside of a house on a First Nations reserve just west of Fort Fraser. Very few details are being released.

Destiny Rae Tom, 21, was found deceased outside of a residence on the Nadleh Whut'en First Nation reserve near Fort Fraser.

Tom was found early Saturday morning. Unconfirmed reports indicated that she was at a house party. RCMP report that a male known to Tom was arrested, but later released without charges.

Tom had ties to Wet’suwet’en reserve near Burns Lake. An autopsy is scheduled for this week to assist with determining a cause of death.
