More than 80 local residents turned up to a Northern Health (NH) board of director's meeting which was held in Burns Lake this week.

Homicide investigators from the North District Major Crime Unit, with assistance from the Burns Lake RCMP Detachment are continuing to work hard at investigating the homicide of 17 year old Southside teen, Chassidy Charlie. According to Sgt. Rob Vermeulen, E Division's senior media relations officer, Investigators now believe this was an isolated incident and not a random attack.
