Mrs. Anne Berg passed away quietly and peacefully on Monday June 15, 2009 at 10:55 am at the Pines. Born in Stanley, Manitoba June 19, 1924. Moving to Hauge, Sask at a very young age where she got all her schooling and met her husband, Abe. Mom moved to the Lakes District with her husband and four children on and in her arms. In October 1950 they resided on the Southside at Uncha Lake for the first two or three years before moving into Burns Lake for the rest of their lives. Four more children joined the existing family in Burns Lake. Mom spent 23 years cleaning the RBC. She spent about another eight to ten at the Burns Lake Motor Inn. Many years of quilting and knitting with all her lady friends at the First Mennonite Church. Mom was predeceased by her husband Abe (1995), her daughter Eileen (2005), son-in-law Tony (2006). Mom was laid to rest on what would have been her 85th birthday, June 19, 2009. She will be sadly and dearly missed by all of her family and kin. Survived by daughters Ann, Marti (Ray), Genoa, and Lynn. Sons Fred (Jan), Larry (Ann), Terry (Deb). 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Sister Susan and bother George.
